Sie sehen so beeindruckend aus wenn sie \u00fcber das Wasser segeln, das k\u00f6nnen sie bis zu 200m. Allerdings sind sie sich der Gefahr auf einem Boot zu landen nicht bewusst und weichen nicht aus! Jochen hatte sich nachts erschreckt als ihn ein gro\u00dfen Fisch an der Schulter getroffen hatte. Natascha hat immer noch mit Zahnschmerzen zu k\u00e4mpfen. In Mindelo hatte sie noch mit der Zahn\u00e4rztin telefoniert und die hatte geraten prohylaktisch ein Antibiotikum zu nehmen. Mit den Seekrankheitstabletten und dem Ibuprofen war das eine ganz sch\u00f6ne Herausforderung f\u00fcr den Magen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In der Nacht vom 25.11. zum 26.11. h\u00f6ren wir \u00fcber UKW das es auf einem Schiff einen medizinischen Notfall gibt und dringend  ein Arzt gesucht wird. Wir verstehen &#8217;suspect of heart attack&#8216;. Das bewahrheitet sich leider. Die ARC schreibt aber vor das man auch mitten auf dem Atlantik Nachrichten\/Mails empfangen mu\u00df. Da kommt nur ein Satellitentelefon (\u00fcber USB) oder die Funk-Kurzwellenger\u00e4te (\u00fcber ein Modem) in Betracht. Hier erreicht man Datenraten von 2,4 kb\/s, also so wie vor 30 Jahren mit den Akustikkopplern (falls sich jemand noch daran erinnert). Die \u00dcbertragung eines Handyfotos w\u00fcrde Stunden dauern, w\u00fcrde aber nicht funktionieren da die Verbindungen regelm\u00e4\u00dfig zusammenbrechen. Wir haben Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeiten zwischen 6,5-7,5 kn, teilweise surfen wir die Wellen mit 11 kn hinab.  Nach einigen Versuchen kommen Jochen und Holger auch mit den beiden Spinnakerb\u00e4umen gut klar. Die Wache in der Nacht teilen die beiden sich. Natascha darf schlafen. Der elektrische Autopilot ist fast im Dauereinsatz. Er steuert auf l\u00e4nger Sicht gesehen besser als der beste Steuermann, er wird \u00fcberhaupt nicht m\u00fcde und ist stets konzentriert. In der Backskiste an Backbord (hier befiindet sich der Motor vom Autopiloten) haben wir etwas Wasser, wo es herkommt k\u00f6nnen wir nicht lokalisieren. Erst 1 Tag vor Ankunft durfte Jochen die Angel einsetzten. Nach kurzer Zeit hatten wir einen Bonito am Haken. Aber nicht lange, ein riesiger Thunfisch (1,5m?) schoss aus einer der Wellen und schnappte sich unseren Fang inkl. K\u00f6der. Nach 2 weiteren vergeblichen Versuchen konnten wir einen kleinen Gelbflossenthunfisch an Bord bringen. Natascha hat diesen zerlegt und zubereitet. Eingelegt in Zitrone, Oliven\u00f6l und Sojaso\u00dfe und Fischgew\u00fcrze, gebraten und im Herd noch ged\u00fcnstet, waren wir uns einig (auch Holger der normalerweise keinen  Fisch isst) das wir noch nie einen so leckeren Fisch gegessen haben!!! Viel schlimmer aber ist, dass sich ein Bolzen gel\u00f6st hat und wir beinahe unser sch\u00f6nes Passatsegel eingeb\u00fc\u00dft h\u00e4tten. Dieses Frachtschiff hatte uns sogar \u00fcber Funk angesprochen da es Blitzsignale (Notruf) gesehen hatte. Es waren aber nur unsere verspiegelten Fensterscheiben in denen sich die Sonne spiegelte &#8211; sehr aufmerksam! Nur noch einen guten Tag bis St. Vincent. Die Gastlandsflagge sowie die gelbe Einklarierungsfahne werden an der Steuerbordsaling gehisst. In St. Vincent werden wir von Marc und Cecilia mit Rumpunsch, Obstkorb und Geschenken liebevoll mitten in der Nacht nach 13,5 Tagen begr\u00fc\u00df. Bei der Einfahrt in die Marina m\u00fcssen wir uns umstellen, hier in Nordamerika ist die Botonnung umgekehrt wie im Rest der Welt, aus rot wird gr\u00fcn, gr\u00fcn wird rot&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Abschnitt von Mindelo (Kapverden) nach St. Vincent (Karibik) erhalten wir die Auszeichnung f\u00fcr die k\u00fcrzeste gesegelte Strecke (2.119 sm) und den 2. Platz  \u00fcber alle Teilnehmer. Auf der Plakette steht SVG &#8211; das heisst  Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir hatten 4 Motorstunden bei einer Flaute ehrlich angegeben und damit eine Strafzeit kassiert. Bei nur 3 Motorstunden w\u00e4ren wir 1. geworden. Der 1. hatte keine Motorstunden angegeben. Caroline mit dem Blue Water Runner Segel ist eine echte Sprinterin, nat\u00fcrlich nur weil die Crew sie ordentlich gefordert hat. Dennoch stand die Sicherheit an erster Stelle.
