Platz der Coronatoten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sp\u00e4ter erfahren wir, dass von den insgesamt 13 Corona Toten, 10 illegale Einwanderer aus Haiti waren. Wir sind froh, dass St. Maarten  noch zum K\u00f6nigreich der Niederlande geh\u00f6rt. Ein gro\u00dfes Milit\u00e4rflugzeug der Royal Netherlands Army ist mit einer Intensivstation (6 Betten) und medizinischer Ausr\u00fcstung auf der Insel gelandet. Gegen 18.30 Uhr, wenn die Sonne gerade untergegangen ist, findet in unserer Bucht oft ein kurzes Konzert der gr\u00f6\u00dferen Schiffe mit ihren Schiffsh\u00f6rnern statt. So sind wir mit unserem Strandzelt auf den Steg umgezogen und haben 3 N\u00e4chte darin verbracht. Dann fing es abends \u00f6fter an zu regnen und wir mussten zur\u00fcck aufs Boot ziehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die geringen Bewegungsm\u00f6glichkeiten machen uns zu schaffen, Jochen hat erstmals seit Reisebeginn wieder R\u00fcckenschmerzen, Natascha versucht sich mit Yoga gegen die beginnende Blockade der Halswirbels\u00e4ule zu wehren. Abends h\u00f6ren wir verschiedene H\u00f6rbucher und Podcasts oder spielen Back Gammon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gl\u00fccklicherweise hat die Gastst\u00e4tte, die direkt neben unserem Steg ist, den Hotspot angelassen als sie geschlossen hat. April sollte der Carneval auf St. Maarten beginnen, die Einheimischen feiern trotz Ausgangssperre und die Polizei kann es kaum verhindern. Neue niederl\u00e4ndische Milit\u00e4rpolizisten werden eingeflogen und k\u00f6nnen sich besser durchsetzten. In einen Facebook-Video wird ein schwarzer Polizist ausgelacht und verh\u00f6hnt. Dann kommt ein Millit\u00e4rpolizist und haut dem R\u00e4delsf\u00fchrer eine rein. Wir verstehen jetzt warum fast jeder Ami eine Klimaanage an Bord hat. Es gibt die Genehmigung seitens der Regierung, dass die angefangenen Arbeiten beendet werden d\u00fcrfen damit die Segler aus dem Hurrikangebiet raus k\u00f6nnen. Wir haben Anfragen in Trinidad, Curacao, Panama gestellt. Diesel haben wir schon gebunkert da man meist durch ein riesiges windarmes Gebiet mu\u00df um zu den Azoren  zu gelangen. Der Heimweg ist nicht unsere 1. Das einzige Land, in das man zur Zeit problemlos einreisen kann, ist die USA, wir ziehen jetzt auch diese Variante in Betracht. Freunde haben uns die Brunswick (Braunschweig) Marina in Georgia empfohlen. Das notwendige, spezielle B2 Visum haben wir uns schon in Berlin beschafft. War umst\u00e4ndlich und teuer und mit einem Interview in der Botschaft verbunden. Andere Segler haben versucht hier in der Karibik dieses Visum zu bekommen, leider vergeblich &#8211; alle US-Botschaften sind geschlossen. Flieger gehen aus den USA regelm\u00e4\u00dfig nach London und Antwerpen. Dann k\u00f6nnten wir hoffentlich zu Nellis (j\u00fcngstes Enkelkind) 1.Geburtstag wieder in Berlin sein. Im n\u00e4chsten Jahr k\u00f6nnten wwir von dort aus eine 2. So kann man nicht los, der Bewuchs w\u00fcrde uns mind. 2 kn Geschwindigkeit kosten. Das sind bei den langen Distanzen gleich einige Tage die man sp\u00e4ter ankommt. Jochen wollte dies eigentlich selbst machen, aber nicht im Hafenwasser sondern drau\u00dfen in der Bucht wo sch\u00f6n klares Wasser ist. Leider nicht m\u00f6glich da, wenn man ausklariert recht z\u00fcgig die Insel verlassen mu\u00df. Sie lagen mit uns seit Wochen mit ihrem Katamaran am Steg und hatten wie wir keine Kontakte nach aussen.
