So machen wir einen Umweg \u00fcber Costa Rica. Hier ist eine Einreise ohne Coronatest und Quarant\u00e4ne m\u00f6glich, aber alle Hygienema\u00dfnahmen werden hier sehr ernst genommen. Um m\u00f6glichst wenig Kontakt zu anderen Menschen zu haben fahren wir selbst mit einem PKW. Es geht quer durch das Land, von der Karibikk\u00fcste \u00fcber Regen-,  Wolken- und Nebelw\u00e4lder, zu Vulkanen und anschlie\u00dfend zu einem Badeaufenthalt an die Pazifikk\u00fcste. Endlich wieder reichlich Sonne und W\u00e4rme! Die Landschaft auf dem Weg dorthin ist von Vulkanen und tropischen W\u00e4ldern gepr\u00e4gt. Ab April kommen tausende Wasserschildkr\u00f6ten an diesen Strand um hier ihre Eier abzulegen. In dieser Zeit kommen auch Jaguare her um die Schildkr\u00f6ten zu fressen. Wir und unser Gep\u00e4ck werden zum wiederholten Male desinfiziert. Die Fahrt nach Tortuguero f\u00fchrt durch einen der vielen Nationalparks. Wir bekommen den ersten Eindruck von der Tierwelt und sehen Wasserschildkr\u00f6ten, Leguane,  Krokodile und verschiedene Reiher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Das typische traditionelle mittelamerikanische Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck Gallo Pinto (spanisch f\u00fcr gefleckter Hahn)  ist f\u00fcr uns etwas gew\u00f6hnungsbed\u00fcrftig. Es besteht aus wei\u00dfem Reis, schwarzen Bohnen und Maistortillas. Dazu gibt es verschiedene Beilagen: Spiegel- oder R\u00fchreier, Kochbananen und anderes. Viele Tiere sind nachtaktiv und der Regenwald ist eigentlich nur nachts voller lauter Stimmen. Sieht auch harmlos aus&#8230; ist aber t\u00f6dlich! Hier ein Iguana und ein kleines Krokodil. unternehmen wir von Monteverde aus eine tolle Tour mit Andres von &#8218;Forest Alive&#8216; durch den Nebel- und Wolkenwald. Er spricht perfekt deutsch, da er die Humboldt Schule in San Jose besucht hat und dort sowohl das deutsche als auch das costaricanische Abitur abgelegt hat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die gro\u00dfen B\u00e4ume sind keine B\u00e4ume sondern W\u00fcrgefeigen &#8211; eine Kletterpflanze. Sie rankt sich um andere B\u00e4ume herum und t\u00f6tet sie so nach und nach ab.
