Dies darf man nicht selbst machen, es sollen Arbeitskr\u00e4fte vor Ort eingesetzt werden. Bezahlt hatten wir vorab, leider! In Deutschland h\u00e4tte ich das Geld zur\u00fcck verlangt, das ist hier etwas schwierig. Die Firma hatte nicht einmal die Seepocken Reste entfernt. Die Schrift haben wir auch ersetzt. Aber dann mussten wir feststellen, das die \u00e4u\u00dferlich intakten Dosen leer waren und der Inhalt sich gut verteilt hatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daher lagerten wir w\u00e4hrend unserer Abwesenheit mehrere Paletten Heinecken Bier, Cola und Sprite in dem kleinen WC. Wir finden wieder eine ganze Menge Dosen leer vor. Zum Gl\u00fcck hat sich die Fl\u00fcssigkeit im Duschablauf gesammelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch der Seifenspender ist undicht und somit alles voller blauer Fl\u00fcssigseife, Sprite, Cola und Bier. Als wir das WC geflutet hatten und die Dusche sauber machen wollten, funktionierte die Absaugpumpe nicht mehr. Also Pumpe ausgebaut, aber die ist in Ordnung. Ventile kontrolliert, auch hier alles okay. Schl\u00e4uche abgezogen und mit der Schlauchbootpumpe erfolglos versucht durchzublasen. Mit langen Dr\u00e4hten pult Jochen dann m\u00fchsam  eine Menge an Stroh und Dreck raus. Dies hat auch hervorragend geklappt, sie waren voll. Damit die empfindlichen Lithiumbatterien nicht \u00fcberladen, werden die Solarpaneele \u00fcber Relais abgeschaltet. Bei der Kontrolle mussten wir mit Erschrecken feststellen, das das Geh\u00e4use der Relais deformiert war. Ein Relais musste sich stark erw\u00e4rmt haben und das Geh\u00e4use war dadurch undicht. Feuchtigkeit war eingedrungen (die Relais sind in einer Backskiste &#8211; Staufach im Heck) und hat ein Relais zerst\u00f6rt.  Gl\u00fcck gehabt, dies h\u00e4tte brenzlig werden k\u00f6nnen. Vorsorglich war aber auch eine zus\u00e4tzliche Sicherung verbaut. Jochen konnte mit Bordmitteln sie nicht aktiveren. \u00dcber ein spezielles Modem (was wir vorsorglich dabei hatten) hat dann der Hersteller dies von Deutschland aus aber geschafft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Reparaturen nehmen kein Ende: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Die Sp\u00fclung beider WC\u00b4s ist ausgefallen, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Achtern ist sogar das Geh\u00e4use der Pumpe geplatzt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Ein Borddurchlass (Ventil durch den Rumpf nach au\u00dfen) ist undicht, Ersatz noch nicht in Sicht. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; 2 Kammern unseres alten Schlauchbootes sind undicht. Wir merken es erst als wir Fotos zum Verkaufen machen wollen.  Verstaut hatten wir es aber funktionst\u00fcchtig. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Jochens elektrische Zahnb\u00fcrste ist kaputt. USA-Ger\u00e4te laufen nur mit 110Volt und 60 Hertz und sind deutlich teurer! So haben wir  die Gleiche problemlos in Deutschland bestellt und nach einer Woche bekommen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Der Schalter der Ankerwinsch ist durch die starke Sonnenstrahlung ausgefallen und undicht. Dadurch ist das Wasser bis in unsere Kabine gelaufen und in ein Fach mit Kleidung gelangt. Zum Gl\u00fcck war alles in Plastikt\u00fcten. Das Wetter ist zu schlecht und sie spielen in einem Pub. Wir verweilen nur kurz da wir die einzigen mit Maske sind. Als wir in unser Auto einsteigen wollen steht neben uns ein &#8222;kleiner&#8220; Pickup. Wir sind jedes mal beeindruckt mit welch riesigen Autos mit entsprechendem Verbrauch die hier unterwegs sind. Hier ist es auch deutlich w\u00e4rmer als in Brunswick. Wir sitzen dann lieber drau\u00dfen im Freien. Man trifft sich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig zu Karten- und anderen Gesellschaftsspielen, feiert zusammen im Klubhaus &#8211; alles ohne Abst\u00e4nde und Masken. Deshalb bleiben wir leider fern und haben dadurch wenige Kontakte zu Amerikanern. Alle Gesch\u00e4fte und Restaurants sind offen, die Anzahl der G\u00e4ste ist aber reduziert. In den besseren Gesch\u00e4ften tragen alle eine Maske, teilweise liegen diese sogar am Eingang kostenlos bereit. Je \u00e4rmer die Gegend desto weniger achtet man auf Hygieneregeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allerdings wird hier intensiv geimpft. In Georgia kann jeder \u00fcber 65 einen schnellen Termin bekommen, die Impfung ist kostenlos und den Impfstoff kann man w\u00e4hlen. Wir haben uns online angemeldet, sind in dem Fall leider noch nicht 65! Mit Elke und Walther von der Sunrise hatten wir schon in Deutschland Kontakt, sie sind auch \u00fcber  Costa Rica eine Woche nach uns in Brunswick angekommen. Wir treffen uns zu einem Sushi Essen bei uns an Bord, da sie wie wir auch einen negativen Coronatest bei der Einreise hatten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.cbp.gov\/profiles\/cbp_gov\/themes\/cbp_gov_theme\/logo.png?resize=269%2C269&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Brunswick, Georgia - 1701 | U.S. Customs and Border Protection\" width=\"269\" height=\"269\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Mai 2020 hatten wir bei der Einreise in die USA eine Cruising License bekommen. Diese berechtigt zum freien Herumfahren in den amerikanischen Hoheitsgew\u00e4ssern. Allerdings muss man sich bei einem Aufenthalt von mehr als 24 Stunden jeweils bei Customs and Border Control melden. Das wird auch wirklich streng kontrolliert und bei Niichteinhaltung drohen hohe Strafen. Die G\u00fcltigkeitsdauer kann bis zu einem Jahr dauern. Unsere endete aber am 31.12.2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir versuchen an mehreren Stellen (Jacksonville, St. Augustin, Brunswick und an 3 Stellen in Baltimor) sie zu verl\u00e4ngern oder neu auszustellen, leider vergeblich. Wir d\u00fcrfen zwar mit dem Auto ohne Einschr\u00e4nkungen quer durch die USA reisen, aber nicht mehr mit dem Boot. Da sind die Amis schon ein bisschen komisch. Jetzt bekommen wir eine License to Proceed. Die erlaubt  nur eine Fahrt zu einem Ziel bevor man die Hoheitsgew\u00e4sser wieder verl\u00e4sst. Wir planen in den S\u00fcden von Florida zu fahren und von dort die Bahamas anzulaufen.
